2022-05-01: Inside Look at Off-Off-Broadway Musical Production

Hello, hello, is this thing on?

In 2021, I looked on in shock and horror as Trump's supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol. I wasn't exactly surprised. I had heard Internet rumors. But I didn't expect what unfolded that day. I was deeply angry, but I didn't know how to deal with it.

And then RobotsElectric hired me to write an off-Broadway musical about it.

So it's a comedy. A very dark comedy.

You know, in a musical, when a character is feeling a strong emotion, they have to sing about it. Well, I was so mad about J6 that I wrote an entire musical.

This is the story about how it's all going, from conception through production, and maybe beyond.
